Just as summer heats up, Discovery Channel is cooling things down by heading back to Alaska for the premiere of Flying Wild Alaska. The series follows Jim Tweto and his family as they run their airline, Era Alaska. The Twetos live in isolated Unalakleet, Alaska (with a population of 750 people) and have to battle the elements to get passengers and supplies to some of the most remote Alaskan locations.
In tonight’s episode, Jim and Ferno’s daughter Ariel, having recently received her pilot’s license, joins in on a desperate search to find a missing friend. Despite the tense situation on tonight’s season premiere, Ariel is her usual bubbly self in the clip below, from her recent appearance on Extra with Maria Menounos.
