Brew MastersThis Sunday, November 21, Discovery Channel will premiere Brew Masters, a new series that follows craft brewer Sam Calagione and the Dogfish Head Brewery team as they explore regions of the country and world in the search of inspiration for the perfect brew. Last Friday, we shared info about the launch of the new Brew Masters Facebook page and Meetup site… and now we’re excited to announce a new social media app on tap: Brew Masters‘ Share Your Brews.

Accessible through the Brew Masters Facebook page, Share Your Brews connects beer connoisseurs and Discovery Channel fans by enabling them to share pictures of their favorite brews, while also commenting on and rating those of fellow fans. Whether it’s an India pale ale or pilsner, Share Your Brews is the place to go to learn about the diversity of beers available around the world (including several from home brewers).

Discovery Channel is also hosting a “Bitches Brew” Twitter Contest (complete rules) on Sunday night and viewers could win some great Miles Davis prizes, courtesy of our friends at Sony Legacy Recordings. To enter, simply follow @Discovery and tweet using the #BrewMasters and #MilesDavis hashtags during the Sunday night premiere. You could win one of:

Brew MastersNext Sunday, November 21, Discovery Channel will debut a new series about a popular, historic and delicious subject — brewing beer. Brew Masters introduces viewers to this world through the eyes of Sam Calagione, the founder of Dogfish Head Brewery. Sam and the Dogfish Head team travel the world looking for exotic ingredients and discovering ancient techniques to produce beers of astounding originality. (Can I sign up?)

To celebrate the new series, Discovery Channel is inviting viewers to set up their own Brew Masters Meetups. To get things started, Sam and the extended Dogfish Head team are hosting several parties across the country, and you can add your own at a local restaurant or pub. Right now we have 24 Meetups from Apex, NC to Portland, OR. You can even enter through Sunday to win one of 100 Brew Masters Party Packs.
