Tomorrow marks the third annual Discover Your Impact Day, an opportunity for Discovery Communications employees to volunteer in their communities and give back to the planet that inspires us daily at Discovery. More than 3,300 employees from 40 offices around the world will contribute their time and sweat to over 155 service activities that will leave a lasting impact.
Joining our employees will be a few members of the larger Discovery family, including Ariel Tweto of Discovery Channel‘s Flying Wild Alaska in Los Angeles, Paul Brown of Discovery Channel’s Auction Kings (with his family) in Atlanta, and Jeannette Torres-Alvarez of Discovery Familia in Miami.
Discovery employees worldwide will help restore and organize schools and homeless shelters, clean parks and beaches, prepare animals for adoption… and much more. You can follow Discovery Communications on Twitter at @DiscoveryComm and follow the hashtag #ourimpact to learn more about what we’re doing on Friday!
