Share Your Fish Face Fotos for a Chance to Be on TV

May 16, 2012 | by kdelmonico

We see a lot of fish faces on Tanked, but Animal Planet thinks YOU could do better. They want fans to show off their fish faces for a chance to be on TV. All you have to do is send them your best fish face via Pinterest or by email and then tune in live to Tanked every Saturday night at 9pm ET/PT on Animal Planet to see if you are the fishy fan of the week.

Come on, don’t be shy. We even enlisted some good-natured Discovery staffers to pucker up and show us their best fish faces for inspiration — every day is an adventure when you work at Discovery Communications!

While penguins are irresistible, Discovery Fit & Health is serving up another type of cute: babies. Yesterday, the network launched Baby Week, its annual celebration that has a focus this year on multiples. You can check out the full schedule online (tonight’s Quadruple the Fun, a look at the UK’s only set of identical quadruplets), and you can also work on your brackets in the Funniest Baby Face-Off. The first round concludes this Wednesday night, so click on the image below to cast your votes and tune in all this week at 8pm ET/PT to Discovery Fit & Health for Baby Week: Multiple Madness!

Get Ready for Animal Planet’s ‘Puppy Bowl’ by Showing Off Your Pup

Bulldog Beatrice

Beatrice, While Inelligible, Encourages You to Share Your Pup Pics

Do you think you have the cutest puppy out there? Or perhaps you can spend hours online ooo-ing and ahh-ing over everyone else’s four-legged friends? Well, I have the destination for you: Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl Game Day Fan Photo Face Off.

Simply upload your favorite pup pic
from Facebook or your computer and encourage your friends and family to vote for your MVP. Then, take some time to give one to five paws to all the pups from fellow Puppy Bowl fans (it’s a competitive field). I’ve included my adopted bulldog, Beatrice, as added inspiration and, if you need more, check out the Puppy Bowl starting line-up before the most anticipated (puppy) sporting event of the year comes to Animal Planet on February 5!
