Beta Finds Discovery Key for Satellite Viewers

(Silver Spring, M d) For the 12th consecutive year, the Discovery Channel ranks #1 in importance to the enjoyment of satellite service among total adults, according to results released from the 2007 Beta Research Satellite Dish Subscriber Study. Securing top finishes in six of the eight categories measured, the Discovery Channel also ranked #1 among top five channels; network satisfaction; average perceived value among total adults; aided awareness (tied); and viewed in the past 12 months.

In other notable results, Animal Planet ranked among the top five major networks in several key categories, which include importance to the enjoyment of satellite service; one of my favorite channels; viewed in the past 12 months; and aided awareness.
