Discovery Communications partners with Activision to Create Animal Planet Games

(Silver Spring, MD) Discovery Communications, the number-one nonfiction media company, today announced that it has formed a partnership with leading video game publisher, Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI), to create family-friendly, Animal Planet-themed interactive video game titles.
Launching in fall 2008, the titles will cover multiple platforms and leverage popular Animal Planet content and themes.
