Discovery Names Craig Felenstein As Senior Vice President of Investor Relations

(Silver Spring, Md.) Discovery Communications today announced that Craig Felenstein has been appointed to the position of Senior Vice President of Investor Relations. Felenstein joins Discovery from News Corporation and will be based in New York City.

As a senior member of the Finance department, reporting into the office of the Chief Financial Officer, Felenstein will oversee Discovery’s global investor relations program, serving as the company’s primary liaison with the financial community, and advising and consulting with executive management on investor relations strategies.

Felenstein comes to Discovery with more than 14 years of experience in investor relations, finance, and accounting. This includes eight years with News Corporation, where he most recently served as Vice President of Investor Relations, developing and delivering strategic messaging to the investment community. Prior to News Corporation, Felenstein managed financial planning and business analysis for Viacom, Inc. His previous experience also includes work as a senior accountant with Arthur Anderson, LLP.

Felenstein holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
