MURDER VICTIMS GET THE FINAL WORD IN INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY’S CELL BLOCK PSYCHIC

Psychic Medium Vicki MonroeGoes Beyond the Grave to Bring Closure to Grieving Families

(Silver Spring, MD) Every murder leaves behind lingering questions for the victim’s loved ones. Unfortunately, those questions are left to haunt those left behind…until now. CELL BLOCK PSYCHIC introduces Vicki Monroe, a psychic medium who believes that a closed case doesn’t mean closure. In this three-part series, Investigation Discovery delves into the paranormal phenomenon of communicating with spirits and bringing real answers to grieving families. Each episode follows Monroe’s investigation into a homicide, anchored by heart-wrenching sessions in which Monroe communicates with the victim in the presence of their loved ones to decipher their final messages from beyond the grave. To provide a complete understanding of the crime, Monroe also travels behind prison walls to communicate with spirits while meeting with the convicted killer. Receiving answers to questions that only the victim and the killer would know, Monroe is able to piece together what happened before, during, and after a crime. Monroe’s otherworldly insights have helped close cold cases and solve high profile investigations, as she works to get answers from beyond to bring closure to suffering families. These are the true stories of murders, as told by the victims themselves. In a special three-part series, CELL BLOCK PSYCHIC premieres Monday, April 21 at 9/8c on Investigation Discovery.

“Investigation Discovery is always looking for ways to expand our storytelling, and CELL BLOCK PSYCHIC brings ID its first series as an expedition into the unknown,” said Kevin Bennett, General Manager of Investigation Discovery. “When something as traumatic and unexpected as a murder happens to a loved one, families are left to pick up the pieces and seek closure in different ways. Vicki Monroe provides an alternative avenue to hope and healing for those who are left behind.”

“We were able to get closure that we needed. The questions that we had in the back of our minds, we had them answered and we are confident now and able to move on, and maybe try to help other people,” said Melissa Collins after working with Vicki Monroe to communicate with her mother in the premiere episode.
