Brad Singer

Brad Singer is responsible for leading Discovery Communications' global financial functions and future financial strategies. As Chief Financial Officer, he directs all accounting, financing, investor, treasury, budgeting, and tax activities. He also serves on Discovery's executive committee and is a key contributor to the overall strategic direction of the company.

Singer joined Discovery in July 2008 from American Tower Corporation, where he held executive positions in finance, operations, and strategy since 2000 and served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since December 2001.

Prior to American Tower, Singer was an investment banker with Goldman, Sachs & Co., focusing on the telecommunications, media and entertainment industries. He also worked for Clyde's Restaurant Group in Washington, DC, from 1991 to 1995, most recently as CFO.

Singer holds an M.B.A. with distinction from Harvard University and is a graduate of the University of Virginia. He previously served as a director of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and chairman of its audit committee and as a director of Citizens Communications Company.
