Today’s guest blog post is from David Tra, Social Media Specialist for Discovery Channel and our resident MythBusters expert.
Last week, I was lucky enough to attend the world premiere of new MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. The exhibit brings together one of my favorite shows, MythBusters, with an experience that allows guests to interact and experiment with myths from the show.
It was great to spend time with all of the people who’ve literally spent years of hard work to make this vision come to life: our Discovery Commerce team, the folks at Exhibits Development Group, Geoffrey M. Curley + Associates, our MythBusters hosts and producers and, of course, the Museum of Science and Industry. I had a blast (pun intended) at the exhibit and definitely recommend it to children, adults and MythBusters fans everywhere. The exhibit will remain at MSI through September 3, 2012 and will then continue to tour 15 cities across the U.S. and Canada. The next stop: The Tech Museum in San Jose, California.
