Just minutes ago, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominees for the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards, which will be presented on September 23 in Los Angeles in a primetime event hosted by funnyman Jimmy Kimmel.* Discovery Channel, TLC & Animal Planet all took home nominations, including Frozen Planet in the Outstanding Nonfiction Series category and MythBusters in the Outstanding Reality Program category.
