Injustice Files: Hood of Suspicion Details Cases of Racial Profiling

Last February, the nation was gripped by the case of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed, hooded-sweatshirt clad teenager who was killed by a self-appointed neighborhood watchmen in his Florida housing development. The details of the interaction remain hazy, but the call for justice was clear: the public wanted to know what happened, with speculation of racial motivations for this seemingly senseless killing.

Tonight, on Investigation Discovery’s  Injustice Files: Hood of Suspicion, award-winning filmmaker Keith Beauchamp will delve into the case of Trayvon Martin, as well as other cases that Beauchamp investigated as cases of racial profiling.

Beauchamp will also cover the case of Robbie Tolan, whose story I got to hear first hand at our Winter TCA tour in January. I won’t ruin the story for you but his is one that is not to be missed and you can see a sneak peek below. Investigation Discovery’s Hood of Suspicion premieres tonight at 8pm ET/PT.
