The Ku Klux Klan (KKK) represents a dark and mysterious part of American culture, filled with clandestine meetings and frightening rituals that, until now, have been largely under wraps.

Tonight, Discovery Channel joins photojournalist Anthony Karen for a rare glimpse into modern day KKK members’s lives with KKK: Beneath The Hood. Karen, who has chronicled the KKK for numerous years, takes viewers through the lives and secret rituals of the Klan. Traditionalist American Knights member Richard Bondira also opens his archives of KKK artifacts for his first televised interview.

Additionally, viewers will meet current Klan family of Rev. Thomas Robb as well as leaders from the Imperial Wizard of the Traditionalist American Knights of the KKK, one of the largest groups in the country.
