Those who tuned into The Adventures of Chuck & Friends or My Little Pony Friendship is Magic earlier today might have noticed a change on-screen: The Hub Network has officially become Discovery Family Channel. The change will bring expanded programming that is “whole family” friendly, appealing to both children and adults alike.
During the day, Discovery Family will continue to air all the best kid’s content, much of it from Hasbro Studios, while at night, programming will shift over to Discovery’s award-winning non-fiction series, spanning genres from natural history, adventure, animals and science.
Many of the iconic series previously aired on The Hub Network will continue to be shown on Discovery Family, including My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, Littlest Pet Shop, Pound Puppies and G.I. Joe. Initial series scheduled to air in the evening and during primetime include Superhuman, Time Warp, Africa, Flying Wild Alaska and Extreme Engineering: Biggest Reveals.
