Investigation Discovery Ranks #1 in Viewer Satisfaction for 5th Year in a Row

For the fifth consecutive year, Discovery Communications’ Investigation Discovery ranked #1 in percentage of viewers who are satisfied with the network in a Beta Research Digital Cable Subscriber Study. The study, which evaluated digital basic cable networks, also awarded Science Channel high marks, ranking it #1 for the second year in a row in percentage of viewers rating the channel as important.

Other notable study results for Discovery Communications’ networks include:

  • For the fourth straight year, Investigation Discovery ranked #1 among female viewers (tie) and viewers 18-49 for being very satisfied with the network (tie).
  • Investigation Discovery also ranked #1 among total viewers on average viewer satisfaction (tie).
  • Science Channel ranked #1 among viewers age 18-34 on average viewer satisfaction (tie).
  • Destination America ranked #1 among female viewers for being very satisfied with the network (tie).
