This holiday season, TLC has partnered with Feeding America in an effort to get local communities involved in the fight against hunger. Feeding America is an impressive organization that feeds America’s hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engages the country in the cause.
This past week, TLC talent and local volunteers joined together at four separate Feeding America member food banks around the U.S. to lend a hand.
- On Monday, December 8, Amy Roloff of Little People Big World joined volunteers at Chicago’s Northern Illinois Food Bank.
- On Tuesday, December 9, Roloff jointed volunteers at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
- On Thursday, December 11, Lori Allen of Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta joined volunteers at the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
- On Thursday, December 11, Kate Stoltz of Return to Amish joined volunteers at Washington D.C.’s Capital Area Food Bank.
The events are part of TLC’s Season of Giving; local volunteers who participated in each event were selected as part of the program’s sweepstakes. As a continuation of the partnership, another sweepstakes is also running until December 14th offering entrants a chance to win a $500 donation to support their local Feeding America food bank.
