Discovery Learning Alliance Partner School Hosts “No Ceilings Conversation” with Clinton Foundation

On May 1, Tamela Noboa, Managing Director of Discovery Learning Alliance (DLA), joined President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton in a No Ceilings Conversation and community discussion about girls’ education in Nairobi. The event, held at a DLA partner school, is one of several stops in a Clinton Foundation tour focused on visiting projects and partners making an impact in areas such as education, the environment, and girls’ and women’s full participation across Africa.

At the event, Chelsea Clinton moderated a panel discussion with Tamela and Kennedy Odede, founder of Shining Hope for Communities before community members, education officials, teachers, parents and students joined the conversation and spoke about what successes and gaps they see in girls’ education.

No Ceilings: The Full Participation Project is the newest Clinton Foundation initiative and was launched to inspire and advance the full participation of women and girls around the world.
