Woof! Perhaps the only thing greater than a gathering of adorable pups and furry four-legged pals is one with a purpose behind it – and Animal Planet‘s Woofstock is just that.

On June 27th from 12-5pm CT, Animal Planet is hosting its inaugural Woofstock, a free all-day festival of fun with one mission in mind: to break the world record for the largest gathering of adopted shelter animals in one location.

Lil Bub, the official “spokescat” of Animal Planet, will be there to lend her support, as well as the less-furry-but-equally-charming Jackson Galaxy of My Cat From Hell and stars from the fan-favorite Pit Bulls and Parolees.

And to add a little je ne sais quoi to the event, Manny the Frenchie will be there, too!
