While I don’t have as much time to contribute to the blog as I’d like to (although you’re in very good hands with my fellow team members), I am always the first to volunteer to post when a new season of Who Do You Think You Are? is coming up…and that’s the case this time around, with the show returning to TLC tonight, April 3, at 9pm ET/PT.
As someone who has recently renewed her family history research (the common family names on my dad’s side and the lack of digital records for my mom’s Latvia/Lithuanian side make it a bit of a challenge), I know that other people’s stories will not only teach me more about history but also (hopefully) motivate me to continue digging. In tonight’s premiere, Aisha Tyler learns more about her 2x great-grandfather and his bravery in the face of racism, and future episodes feature Scott Foley, Lea Michele, Chris Noth, Molly Ringwald and Katey Sagal.
Watch a preview of tonight’s episode at ETOnline.com, and perhaps start (or continue) your own genealogical journey!
P.S. For those eligible, you also can visit TLC.com to enter to win a trip to your homeland!
