For many of us, this long weekend in honor of President’s Day signals the final long weekend until the start of summer. Luckily, we have plenty of premieres and thought-provoking shows to take your mind off the long winter months ahead. Here’s what’s coming up, starting tomorrow:
- The Zoo (Saturday, February 18 at 10PM ET/PT on Animal Planet): Animal Planet takes audiences on a first-ever, in-depth look behind the scenes at the Bronx Zoo, a New York institution and global leader in animal care and species conservation. With full access to the Bronx Zoo’s 265-acre campus, located a mere ten miles from New York’s Times Square, Animal Planet shines a light on a wondrous world of more than 6,000 animals and the 500-plus people dedicated to their care and well-being.
- Long Island Medium (Sunday, February 19 at 8PM ET/PT on TLC): Fan-favorite medium Theresa Caputo returns for an all-new series of awe-inspiring readings to some of your favorite celebrities. Season premiere guests include Rosie O’Donnell, Mo’Nique and Ta’Rhonda Jones.
- Lone Star Law (Sunday, February 19 at 10PM ET/PT on Animal Planet): Starring the elite squad of Texas Game Wardens who who protect the Lone Star State’s wildlife and more than 27 million citizens, LONE STAR LAW takes viewers on the often dangerous journeys across more than a quarter-million squares miles of deserts, lakes, piney woods, bayous, plains and coast. The Texas Game Wardens have their hands full every day, protecting both animals and citizens, and with Texas being the second largest state in the U.S., there seems to be no slowing down any time soon.
