Legend of the Lost Creek Gold Premieres Saturday, January 25 at 9/8c
Spencer and Eugene go treasure hunting with their neighbor Cowboy to find the legendary, gold-filled Lost Creek. To retrieve this bounty, the boys must build their own backwoods dredger, which is made only from a household water pump and hoses. They will have to get their homemade dredger through Appalachia’s tough terrain, which is easier said than done.
Green Gold Premieres Saturday, January 25 at 9:30/8:30c
In this episode, the boys must harvest a half-pound of ginseng to trade for the down payment on Eugene’s truck. However, before Eugene and Spencer can start searching for this valuable root, they will have to find a way to dry out the ginseng. The boys will put their mountain know-how to the test in order to concoct a waterwheel-powered dehydrator out of junk. But a young poacher, whose ginseng-sniffing dog is finding every plant on Spencer’s land, jeopardizes the boys’ plan.
