A NEW SEASON OF ‘NAKED AND AFRAID’ PREMIERES SUNDAY, MARCH 5TH AT 10PM ET/PT

Discovery’s real, raw and extreme show is now giving two super fans the opportunity of a lifetime to see if they have what it takes to conquer 14 days NAKED AND AFRAID… BUT there’s a twist.
For the first time ever, the two survivalists will document their intense Naked and Afraid experience across social media. Fans of the series can catch daily highlights and low points of the NAKED AND AFRAID survival journey in real time. YouTuber Cory Williams and pro-surfer Anastasia Ashley, will both be sharing their Naked and Afraid journey in real time across their social platforms. Follow Cory and Anastasia in real time on their social media accounts NOW as they train and also during the challenge itself from Monday, February 20th until Sunday, March 5th. The new season of NAKED AND AFRAID premieres Sunday, March 5th at 10pm ET/PT and Cory and Anastasia’s episode will air later in the season.
Cory Williams is a professional YouTuber who has been creating short films online for over 12 years. His YouTube channels SMPFilms and LiveEachDay, have over a million subscribers and 500 million views with multiple viral videos. Cory claims he’s been preparing for a challenge like NAKED AND AFRAID since he was a kid. Born and raised in Central California, Cory grew up hunting and fishing with his family near the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Currently residing in Eagle River, Alaska, Cory has become an avid outdoorsman. His background as a firefighter for the California Department of Forestry (CDF), a certified EMT, and a professional stuntman provide a unique skill set perfect for a survival challenge. Anastasia Ashley is an internationally recognized professional surfer. Competing from the early age of 7, she was professionally surfing by the age of 14 and has won over 200 events including the prestigious Women’s Pipeline Pro. She is currently one of the most followed surfers on social media with over 3 million followers and fans across her channels.
