Christmas Cookie Challenge
- Premiering Monday, December 3rd at 10pm – “Christmas Comes in All Sizes”
Host Eddie Jackson loves traditional nesting dolls because they’re the kind of Christmas gift that keeps on giving. So for this decorating challenge, he asks five of America’s finest cookie makers to whip up six cookies of the same design that get progressively smaller. It’s a tall order for judges Stephanie Boswell, Ree Drummond and Molly Yeh to decide which two cookie makers come up short in the first round. The task gets even tougher in the display challenge as the three remaining cookie makers must craft a Christmas village completely out of cookies. It’s mayhem on Main Street as the bakers compete with $10,000 on the line.
- Premiering Monday, December 10th at 10pm – “Mr. and Mrs. Claus”
Everyone knows how Santa Claus spends Christmas Eve, but for this decorating challenge, host Eddie Jackson asks five talented cookie makers to imagine what Christmas Eve looks like for Mrs. Claus. Judges Stephanie Boswell, Ree Drummond and Molly Yeh know that Santa’s better half deserves the very best, so only the top three move on to the display challenge, where they have to craft gorgeous fireplace mantels out of cookies with ingredients like Brazil nuts, hazelnuts or macadamia nuts. It’s one tough nut to crack, but one cookie maker’s fireplace scene will outshine the rest for a $10,000 prize.
- Premiering Monday, December 17th at 10pm – “Colorful Christmas” – SEASON FINALE!
Traditional Christmas colors are red and green, but festive foodies have been lighting up social media with hip ombre hues, too. For the decorating challenge, host Eddie Jackson asks five trendy cookie makers to create cookies that feature at least four shades of a color. Judges Ree Drummond, Jordan Pilarski and Gesine Prado determine which three bakers have the color palette and palate worthy of moving on to the display challenge, when the remaining competitors make the workshop glow with 3D cookie creations that actually light up! They must incorporate invigorating ingredients like coffee, chai or matcha tea, and the cookie maker that shines the brightest becomes a Christmas Cookie champion.
Online, find Food Network’s most creative holiday cookies ever. Go behind the scenes of the series on Food Network’s Instagram and Facebook pages and watch Eddie, Ree and the other judges take on culinary challenges, including a race to cut out cookies! Fans can weigh in on their favorite cookies and challenges using #ChristmasCookieChallenge.

- Premiering Friday, December 7th at 9pm – “Triple D Nation: Stuffed Stuff”
Guy Fieri knows it’s what’s on the inside that counts, and these top spots in the Triple D Nation really know how to stuff the good stuff in. Like in Eureka, California, where a chef is cramming calamari with shrimp and leeks. In Denver, the Empress of Empanadas is showcasing some of her newest creations. And as a bonus, Guy’s introducing the Pastrami Zombie in Ashland, Oregon, whose sandwiches are the bomb.

Host: Guy Fieri Judges: Traci Des Jardins, Eric Greenspan, Justin Warner
- Premiering Wednesday, December 26th at 9pm – “Clash of the Vegetarians!”
When four veggie masters compete in three veggie-inspired rounds, they prove that leafy greens and nutrient-packed beans have more protein than meets the eye. First, Guy Fieri gives them a list of key ingredients they must feature, and then a diner-style order wheel determines the classic meat dishes the chefs must make vegetarian. Finally, Guy takes away the chefs’ carts before they shop for their guilty pleasure dishes. One vegetarian chef will juice the competition and go on to shop Flavortown for up to $20,000.

Trisha Yearwood loves a good brunch, so she’s preparing a spread that features a twist on brunch classics. She makes Muffin Tin Veggie Baked Eggs with Roasted Red Pepper, Kale and Scallions, plus Fried Chicken and Cornmeal Pancakes and Black Pepper Bacon. For something sweet, she whips up Pecan and Spiced Honey Fruit Salad. Trisha tops off her brunch with some inspirational music as she’s joined by her backup singers, The Wall of Sound.
