(New York) – From MacGyver-like scientists to amateur stunt artists, the internet is filled with clips of crazy homemade experiments and misadventures. Science Channel’s team of top science minds are back to break down the ingenuity – and sometimes insanity – behind each week’s most out-of-this-world experiments, incredible inventions, and jaw-dropping stunts when OUTRAGEOUS ACTS OF SCIENCE returns Wednesday, June 21 at 9pm ET/PT.
This season, OUTRAGEOUS ACTS OF SCIENCE showcases the most shocking stunts and mind-blowing reactions to hit the web. Each episode counts down twenty viral clips while a team of real-life scientists analyze the principles behind each display. Experts include astrophysicist Hakeem Oluseyi, physicist Debbie Berebichez, molecular biologist Adam Ruben, among others.
“We’re so thrilled to have the most insightful and funny team in science back to analyze and marvel at the web’s craziest videos,” said Wyatt Channell, Executive producer, Science Channel.
The premiere episode looks at backyard inventors creating the ultimate life hacks. From turning a bike into a car, cola into a fire extinguisher or a jet ski into a Jetovator, these life hackers are pure genius.
OUTRAGEOUS ACTS OF SCIENCE is produced for Science Channel by October Films. For October Films, Gareth Cornick and Denman Rooke are executive producers. For Science Channel Wyatt Channel is executive producer.
