TLC Launches Parenting Blog

(Silver Spring, Md. ) TLC announced today that it has launched, a collaborative blog about the modern state of parenthood. Parentables is a site where parents from all walks of life can share in finding the extraordinary in the everyday, and take a peek into the lives of other families, learn from their challenges and successes, and discuss hot-button issues. At launch, Parentables has more than 20 contributors, each established writers in the parenting space. Parentables’ writers are not industry experts, but are experts of their own experience. Pros at juggling family, personal and professional commitments, they are “Chief Household Officers” in charge of major decisions, including family health and nutrition, financial planning, education, vacation, and work-life balance. The site’s content encompasses a range of parenting views, with the common theme of the joys and challenges of parenthood running throughout, and allows parents to come together to be inspired, entertained and informed.
