Susanna Dinnage was appointed President of Discovery Networks UK and Chief Content Officer, International, in October 2016.
Susanna is responsible for the management and direction of Discovery’s business in the market and for leading the International Content Group, Discovery’s London based international production and development department.
Discovery Communications’ UK and Ireland business consists of 13 TV brands including Discovery Channel, Eurosport, TLC, Quest, Investigation Discovery (ID) and Animal Planet, and reaches more than 24 million viewers every month. Internationally, Discovery’s footprint covers more than 220 countries and territories and three billion cumulative viewers worldwide.
Prior to joining Discovery in January 2009, Susanna held a series of senior roles spanning more than 10 years at Channel Five where she worked on the launch of the channel and its digital extensions.
Susanna started her career at MTV Networks where she specialized in audience insight and worked on the launch of a number of MTV and VH1 channels.
She is on the board of All3media, the Discovery and Liberty Global joint owned group of eighteen production companies, an executive member of the Discovery Women’s Network and Chair of the Commercial Broadcasters Association (COBA).
