Discovery Communications Added to the NASDAQ-100 Index
On Friday, the NASDAQ OMX Group announced changes to its NASDAQ-100 Index, including the addition of Discovery Communications (DISCA) and nine other securities to the Index. Launched in January 1985, the NASDAQ-100 Index is composed of the 100 largest non-financial stocks listed with NASDAQ and is re-ranked each year in December.
